    Figures.

    From The Weather Channel website:

A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

THIS WATCH IS FOR AREAS SOUTH OF THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE AND DOWN TO THE SOUTH COAST. THIS INCLUDES SOUTHERN MASSACHUSETTS... NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT AND RHODE ISLAND. THE WATCH DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CAPE OR ISLANDS.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVER SPREAD THE REGION FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST BETWEEN 4 AM AND 8 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING. ONCE THE SNOW BEGINS... IT MAY FALL HEAVILY AT TIMES DURING THE MORNING. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 INCH PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE MORNING. THE SNOW WILL QUICKLY ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS... RESULTING IN POOR VISIBILITIES AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

A MESSY RUSH HOUR IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT WHERE THE SNOW WILL BEGIN EARLIER. ACROSS RHODE ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS... THE SNOW WILL BEGIN DURING THE RUSH HOUR SO IT WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE MORNING COMMUTE EVERYWHERE.

THE POTENTIAL CONTINUES FOR 4 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW. THE BEST CHANCE OF THE HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE CLOSEST TO THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE. IT DOES APPEAR THAT ENOUGH WARM MID LEVEL AIR WILL COME INTO AREAS SOUTH OF THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE TO RESULT IN A CHANGE TO RAIN ACROSS SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND. FURTHER NORTHWEST A PERIOD OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN IS LIKELY... ESPECIALLY OVER CONNECTICUT AND EVEN THE HILLS OF NORTHWEST RHODE ISLAND FOR A TIME. A TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH OF ICE ACCRETION IS POSSIBLE ON TOP OF THE SNOW.

ANYONE TRAVELING ON WEDNESDAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY DETERIORATING CONDITIONS... WITH SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS AND POOR VISIBILITIES.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED FOR THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOW OF 6 OR MORE INCHES IN A 12 HOUR PERIOD... OR 8 OR MORE INCHES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. ANYONE TRAVELING IN THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO MODIFY TRAVEL PLANS SHOULD WINTER WEATHER DEVELOP.

Well, no sense in worrying over what you can't control. My plane is schedule to leave right in the hardest hitting time of the storm. I only have an hour in between when my flight arrives in Charlotte, and my next flight heads for Orlando. And then an hour between when I arrive in Orlando and my next flight leaves for Detroit. Soooo I am becoming super prepared. I have maps of the all the airports printed out and I looked up my gate numbers so in the event I have to book it and run through the airport, I'll have an idea as to where I am going. I have all the contact info you can think of printed out and will be on my person. I'm going to travel in style in the event my luggage gets lost (but now that I think about it, I will probably only bring a carry on with me), that way if I do lose something, I won't be interviewing in jeans or sweats or whatever I usually wear. The good news is that Charlotte has 20 flights to Detroit that day, so if I do miss the connecting to Orlando, I will still be in good shape to make it to Detroit.

What an adventure this will be!
