So everything has gone really well so far. Obviously the big concern was if my flight out of Boston would actually happen, with the snow storm. It took an hour and a half to get to Logan, and I didn't get to the airport until 45 minutes when my plane was supposed to leave. Thankfully there was nobody at the airport, and it only took 10 minutes to check in and go through security.
We boarded the plane normally, but had to spend half an hour deicing the plane. By the time I got off the plane in Charlotte, I had just enough time to go to the bathroom and grab a snack to bring on the plane before my next flight was scheduled to board. However, ten minutes after we were supposed to get things rolling, the sign at our gate changed its destination from Orlando to LA. Turns out our plane hadn't shown up yet. Because of they delay, I didn't think I was going to make my flight from Orlando to Detroit, so I went to Special Services and they were like "Heck with that crap, we'll just put you on a direct flight to Detroit!" It was beautiful..I got into Detroit at 8 instead of 10, and was in Toledo by 9. When I got to my friend's place I checked my email, and Expedia had sent me a message telling me that the flight from Orlando to Detroit was cancelled. So really everything was a big blessing in disguise.
I'm really glad for my friend whom I am staying with. It makes things ten times easier. Right now I'm chilling at the library while she has class, then we're gonna have lunch, and then bam! It's interview time! :) PS I'm so excited to be on a medical campus...it just gets me really excited to know that people are studying what I am passionate about!
