Doing more research on schools just makes me a tiny bit depressed. They're so expensive. You really do have to be crazy to want to take on that huge of a burden just to help people in an already hard career. Either crazy or plain lucky. I read something today that more and more medical students are coming from higher income families. Not me! Haha.
Whatever I do, I definitely have to do the NHSC loan repayment. Even if that means working in Alaska or out on cocomumboo island, I'm game. $50,000 gone in two years...the only way I'm gonna be able to handle all that debt.
Today I started studying for the GRE. I'm gonna memorize the master word list.I figure I don't have much control over my GPA or health care experience right now, but I do have tons of control over my GRE, so I hope to rock it. Any bets as to how far I can get through the 3500 words?
