Made a trip to the mailbox today...

    I got a letter!

HEY! SOMEONE PEEKED BEFORE I GOT A CHANCE TO LOOK!!!! Who does that?! (My family is away on vacation!)

Ahhh, there I go, almost opened.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)

I knew as soon as I saw the letter. The envelope was kinda thick, and I was like "There is no way they take five sheets of paper to tell you you're rejected!" I felt so weird walking back to the house looking at it (you can see that I didn't open it right away). It was like my whole body was light, and everything else going on around me was blocked. It was so surreal. The best part is that says I have a "conditional acceptance," based on the results of a background check. My Mass family has been telling me for the past couple of months that they are writing letters to both schools telling me I'll never pass the background check, haha.

It is just so weird that yes, I'm finally going to be a PA...I mean my entire past two years have been dedicated towards becoming one, and it's finally here!

It takes all the pressure off my Philly interview next week. I know I'm prepared and I'll do fine, but I'm the kind of person who definitely likes to over-prepare. No matter what happens, I'm gonna be a PA at a school that I like!

    AHH!

    :)

Oh-DON'T TELL MY PARENTS! I HAVEN'T TOLD THEM YET. They don't use the internet so I don't have to worry about them finding out here. I mailed them a map of the area with a note saying "Keep this, you might need it later" and a copy of my acceptance letter. My sister does know, she was the first person I told. My Mass family does not know because they are on vacation and I am trying to figure out a fun way to tell them. :)
