Monday was my last official shift for my IM rotation. I was scheduled to work 9pm to 9am doing admissions in the ER, which I thought would make for an interesting night, but I went in at 7 and they let me go at 12:30 ("It's pointless for you to be here, you don't need anymore practice and you have an exam to study for!") Normally I would have stayed because you see some interesting things in an ER at night, but had I done the whole shift I wouldn't have been getting home until 7:45 am, which would have meant sleeping all day and losing the whole day of studying. I was thankful for that!

I also got my eval back from my preceptor. They loved me and I got perfect scores, which is great because it takes a tiny bit of pressure off for this crazy written exam on Friday. What a relief!
