I'm getting really, really pumped about this interview. I'm spending lots of time studying all the issues regarding health care reform, and surprisingly, I'm actually kind of enjoying it. I've been reading tons of articles on the internet, and then going to sites like CNN and Fox and MSNBC and watching all the videos they have posted about health care. Going into this I didn't know much--only that yes, our system is in rough shape, and Obama's plan was getting a lot of criticism. Now I have confidence that I have the basics of both sides and can argue for either one of them. The next step will be actually forming an opinion about what I would do for health care reform. That may take awhile because I don't really have any understanding of economics...macro or micro. It's helping pass the time too. Unlike last interview when I only had less than a week to prepare, I've had a month, and thankfully it hasn't dragged at all.
I called the program this morning because they require proof of CPR certification at the interview, and my CPR card was in my old car that got junked and I forgot to mention to get the card out of where I had it stashed...anyways I was just calling to see if they would count the fact that my CPR class is on my transcript, and the lady who answered was just so nice and had a classic southern accent. I got wicked pumped!
