Cool brain

We saw one of these brains yesterday. I won't show an actual picture of it, but do you see the big black spot on the left side of this picture?

It indicates air, or a big empty space. One of the brains we did yesterday literally had a big hole on the side of their head. It was caused by one of the protective "skins" covering the brain forming a huge cyst and pushing everything away. Our professor even though that the patient had been alive after it had happened, because the interior portion had healed. It was bizarre.
