I have been awake for 15.5 hours. 13.5 of those have been dedicated to learning. Crazy but I love it. By 6:30 I had left to go study the cadavers in our lab, which was awesome because I was the only one there and it was so quiet. I was also able to find some hard to find structures on our body which I hadn't found before. Afterward we had a doozy of a lecture on the eye, which was three hours and covered what normally would take two weeks to cover. I then had to give a grand rounds type group presentation on Bell's Palsy. Kind of unlucky since only a third of the class had to go today and we have all these exams, but you got to do what you got to do. I did not have my best showing, but my groupmates did well. I then stayed at the library to cover today's lecture, and eventually made it home at 8, where I heated up leftovers and studied some more.
We had a med term quiz Monday, case presentations today, a written anatomy exam Friday, a lab practical Friday, a physiology exam Monday ( which I have been ignoring because of anatomy), and another med term quiz on Monday. It's only the second week of school! Haha. Thankfully I had a tough enough undergrad experience that this isn't too much of a blow, but to be honest I am so busy that I don't think Ive quite absorbed the enviroment I live in or the full realization that I am definitely on my way to be a PA.
