    CLEAR!

I'm tired. These 100 hour weeks are wiping me out. I was informed today that I have 18 days until my board exams and of the fifty 15 minute presentations I'm supposed to have memorized....I know about 30% of the material...and we have at least 10 other exams between now and then to deal with!

But in other news, I am now ACLS certified...Advanced Cardiac Life Support, that is. That means if someone goes into cardiac arrest in front of me, I know how what drugs to give and how much to shock them and the treatment algorithms based on what rhythm their heart is in. We were all given the chance to be Team Leader, and I liked that role...I'm pretty good at staying calm and I'm blessed with the ability to think quickly. I'm also thankful that my school has some great technology, where we had a patient simulation robot that we could practice on and could respond appropriately (thanks to a technician who sits behind a glass and adjusts the pt's breathing/HR/vitals appropriately...the pt can even talk to us!).

Now how about that studying that needs to be done....:)
